Social responsibility

As we see it, success isn't just about a bigger market share or higher profits. It's about having more opportunities and more responsibility to help where it's needed. For those who, for whatever reason, find the road to success more difficult.

We support things that strengthen society as a whole

Sport, culture, healthcare, education. These are all things that a healthy society needs to grow and develop. Our growth as a company depends on it. That’s why it’s natural for us to support charities and non-profit organisations, as well as individual events, that make the world a better place.

We help those who already know how to help others. We regularly support the following foundations, funds and accounts with long-standing traditions and excellent results.

Czech Republic

  • Krtek Oncology Fund
  • Bariéry Account
  • Na kole dětem Fund
  • Klokánek Fund for Children at Risk
  • Syner Foundation
  • Ronald McDonald House

Slovakia

  • Markíza Foundation
  • Deťom s rakovinou n.o. (non-profit organisation)
  • Children’s Sleep Laboratory in Martin
  • Children's psychiatric day care centre at the Children's Psychiatric Clinic in Martin
  • Department of Paediatric Cardiology in Bratislava

In our opinion, sport for health should not just be an empty slogan. That is why we support events that encourage the general public to exercise, as well as sports clubs that work with young talent to develop a love of exercise. Because this makes the most sense for children.

Sports events

  • RunCzech
  • Czech Open
  • Bratislava Open
  • Sport2Life
  • Velká Chuchle

Sports clubs

  • Rugby Club Sparta Praha
  • Vespa Club Praha
  • SKI Ostrava
  • BT Golf

We also focus on quality and tradition in the cultural sphere. These are the values we hold dearest and support most wholeheartedly, whether in festivals or institutions.

  • Karlovy Vary International Film Festival
  • Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava
  • Gallery of Modern Art in Hradec Králové

Education is the key to a better future. However, not everyone can afford it. Therefore, we support organisations that promote financial literacy, make culture accessible, or help people on the margins of society and other disadvantaged groups.

  • Financial Distress Advisory Service
  • Italian Cultural Institute
  • Eleutheria Endowment Fund
  • NePINdej (ČBA) Project

Health is priceless. But contributing to cutting-edge medical research and access to healthcare still seems like the healthiest idea to us.

  • Institute of Microbiology
  • St. Anne’s University Hospital Brno
  • Pneumomed Bratislava

We help directly as volunteers

For a good cause, we're not afraid to get our hands dirty. On the contrary, we seek out projects that others ignore and proudly dive right in. Because even large funds and foundations cannot cover everything. And sometimes it is simply better to help where we know the situation or have connections.

Volunteering is a way to not only be useful, but also to learn something about us. That's why we provide two days of paid leave for volunteering to all employees. We leave it entirely up to them to decide where they want to help. This allows them to focus on what they find most meaningful.

However, employees also enjoy getting involved in projects that we have come up with. For example, they volunteer at Palata, a home for the visually impaired in Prague, or work with the Emil Endowment Fund in Brno, which helps people with disabilities get active. In addition, they regularly donate blood at UniCredit Kvapka krvi, which we organize in cooperation with the Slovak National Transfusion Service.

We support the goodwill of our employees through the Gift Matching Programme. We double their donations to dozens of non-profit organisations and projects that they choose themselves.

We teach children to manage money

Finance is not only a professional topic for us, but also a social one. We help children and young people build financial literacy so that they will eventually know what is best for their money. Saving in a piggy bank is no longer enough these days.

Our volunteers teach financial literacy and cybersecurity at primary and secondary schools, either independently or in cooperation with the Czech Banking Association. Every year, they visit dozens of schools throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Judging by the positive feedback, we know that their lessons teach children something that schools alone cannot provide.

Since 2023, we have been cooperating with the Junior Achievement organisation in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It helps young people recognise the value of entrepreneurship and an ethical working environment, as well as understand business and economics. In short, it prepares them for the adult world of work so that they can find meaning and their own place in it.

We co-operate with four non-profit organisations that we supported as part of our Call for Education 2023 initiative. All of them help with the education of children and youth in the Czech Republic or Slovakia in some way.

  • Chance4Children fights for children who are socially disadvantaged or ill.
  • Rokit provides free educational counselling and support to families, children and schools.
  • Cesta vonhelps people living in generational poverty, especially children and young people from marginalised communities in Slovakia.
  • Aj Ty v IT supports girls and women in the field of information technology.

In Slovakia, we cooperate with the organisation TEACH, which focuses primarily on teacher training and school development, so that every child can fully develop their potential.

We don't have human resources, but we do have satisfied employees

Knowing that we are only as good as the people who work for us, we want them to be satisfied, relaxed, and able to devote themselves to their work in peace and to the fullest. We let them set their own working hours, offer plenty of days off and everything they need to work smoothly from home.
