Preparation of this accessibility declaration

This declaration was prepared on 28 June 2025 on the basis of an audit report prepared by a Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA = Certified Professional in Web Accessibility) dated 20 December 2024. The assessment was carried out by Ondřej Pohl, CPWA from the digital agency ACTUM Digital (member of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals - IAAP).

The audit was prepared using a fully manual method with partial use of automated tools followed by manual review. The audit was also performed using assistive technology testing and on various devices. The overall method of examination and scope selection is based on the WCAG-EM method.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the technical standard EN 301 549 v3.2.1, which is currently the most appropriate guideline for determining service compliance. The aim of that standard and rules is to publish web pages in a way that is perceptible, navigable, understandable and stable for users. This statement will be updated when the harmonised standard for the Directive is published.

The following list identifies the requirements of the standard that are in compliance according to the audit.

Mortgage

Dear Client,

Thank you for choosing our bank as a partner for financing your needs. We would be happy to introduce you to the consumer mortgage loan options we offer.

A mortgage loan is a long-term housing loan that is always secured by a lien on real estate.

Types of loans

You can take out a mortgage loan as

purpose-based – to finance, in particular, the purchase, construction or reconstruction of a property that serves/will serve as the applicant's own housing or that of a close relative (including refinancing an existing loan provided for housing purposes). Subsequently, after drawing down the loan, it is necessary to prove that you used the loan funds for the agreed purpose;
non-purpose-based – the purpose of using the loan funds is not documented.

We also offer the following mortgage loans:

Mortgage for young people – if you are under 36 years old at the time of applying for the loan.
Low-energy mortgage – if you are buying a property that has a building energy performance certificate in the classification class of primary energy from non-renewable sources / non-renewable primary energy A or B (without restrictions) and in the classification class C (max. up to 102 kWh/(m2.year) for residential units and max. up to 157 kWh/(m2.year) for family houses). We do not provide this type of mortgage for all types of purposes and for non-purpose mortgages.
Mortgage with unspecified property (Mortgage in advance) – we will lend you up to 80% of the estimated value of the property. First, we will conclude a loan agreement with you, then you have up to 12 months to search for a suitable property. We do not provide this type of mortgage for all types of purposes and for non-purpose mortgages.

Conclusion of a loan agreement

If your application is approved, we will provide you with a European standardized information overview on consumer credit and then conclude a loan agreement and collateral documentation with you. The loan and collateral documentation also includes the General Terms and Conditions, Product Terms and Conditions for Loans and the Fee Schedule for the Provision of Banking Services – part for natural persons not doing business.

Loan amount

The amount of the loan depends on your needs and ability to repay the loan, as well as on the value of the property that you provide us as collateral for the loan.

Drawing a loan

In order to draw a loan, you must prove to us that you have met all the conditions for drawing a loan. The condition for drawing is always the establishment of a lien, including property prohibitions on alienation and encumbrances on the property.

Current account

For the purposes of drawing a loan, it is necessary to have a current account established with us, from which loan repayments will subsequently be deducted.

Interest rate and fees

The interest rate is fixed and does not change for the agreed period of its fixation.

The amount of fees is stated in the loan agreement, or is governed by the valid tariff.

The annual percentage rate of charge (APR) expresses the total cost of the loan as an annual percentage of the total loan amount, the amount is calculated based on the assumptions stated in the loan agreement, in particular the assumption that the interest rate and other payments will remain unchanged.

Repayment

Repayment takes place in the form of monthly annuity payments, which repay the loan principal and interest at the same time.

You have the option of postponing a specific payment and also the option of partial or full early repayment.

Loan security

For loans, security is required in the form of establishing a lien, including real prohibitions on alienation and encumbrances on the property.

For clients who meet the insurance company's conditions, there is the option of arranging insurance of the ability to repay. The amount of the payment then includes the annuity monthly payment and the amount of the monthly insurance premium.

PRESTO Loan

Thank you for choosing our bank as a partner for financing your needs. We are happy to introduce you to the consumer loan options we offer.

Types of loans

In addition to overdraft loans, we offer the following consumer loans:

Consumer loan "PRESTO Loan" to finance your personal needs. The purpose of using the loan funds is not documented.
Consumer loan for housing "PRESTO Loan for housing" to finance your housing (including refinancing an existing loan provided for housing purposes). Subsequently, after drawing down the loan, it is necessary to prove that you used the loan funds for the agreed purpose.
Consumer loan for housing "PRESTO Loan for housing - Repair a house like grandma" - a preferential loan to finance your housing (with a lower interest rate) within the framework of the program announced by the State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic for co-financing the projects New Green for Savings - Repair a house like grandma. Even in this case, after drawing down the loan, you must prove that you used the loan funds for the agreed purpose.

Conclusion of a loan agreement

After you have chosen the loan parameters according to your wishes and entered the required data for the assessment of your application, you will be given mandatory pre-contractual information and a proposal for concluding a loan agreement for signing. You are required to familiarize yourself with these documents. After you have signed the proposal for concluding a loan agreement, the application will be finally evaluated. If it is approved, you will be sent an acceptance letter, which will conclude the loan agreement. This agreement also includes the General Business Terms, Product Business Terms for Loans and the Fee Schedule for the Provision of Banking Services - Part for Non-Entrepreneurial Individuals.

Loan Amount

The loan amount depends on your needs and ability to repay the loan, and in the case of the "PRESTO Housing Loan - Repair Grandma's House" loan, also on the amount of the subsidy granted.

Loan Withdrawal

The loan can be withdrawn without any additional conditions on the day the loan agreement is concluded. The exception is the subsidized loan "PRESTO Housing Loan - Repair Grandma's House", the use of which is conditional on receiving funds from the State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic or delivery of a decision on granting a subsidy.

Current account

For the purpose of drawing a loan, it is necessary to have a current account established with us, to which the funds will be paid. Loan installments will subsequently be deducted from this account.

Internet Banking

Basic information

This document regulates the terms and conditions of use of UniCredit Bank's Internet and electronic banking (IEB).
IEB includes web and mobile applications for managing accounts, cards, loans, investments, etc.
The Bank may change the terms and conditions and the client is informed of such changes 2 months in advance.

Who can use IEB

The bank calls a person who has access to IEB and can perform various operations an account holder or administrator or user.
The administrator can assign or change access to other users, which is a broad authorization that is normally only available to the account holder.
Access can be revoked or modified at any time.

Security rules

The Bank never asks clients to make a payment transaction. When this happens, it is fraud!
Protect your login details, which are also called personal security features (PIN, passwords, etc.).
Do not use the same password/PIN elsewhere.
Choose a strong and difficult-to-guess password.
Do not share your login details with anyone.
Do not write down your passwords anywhere, change them immediately if you suspect anything.
Enter your details discreetly, not in public.
Do not use other people's or untrusted devices.
Only share your password with the bank if you are sure that you are communicating with the bank.
Protect your SIM card with a PIN and block it if you lose it.
Do not install unknown applications and use only official stores.
Regularly update your computer and antivirus.
Do not allow unnecessary permissions for applications.
Do not allow remote access to strangers.
Only log in to IEB via the bank's official website.
Ignore suspicious emails, links and phone calls.
Monitor messages from the bank and respond to warnings.

Login and authorization

Logging in to IEB and authorizing payments or settings is done using security features (e.g. PIN, biometrics, SMS code).
The bank may change the method of logging into the IEB for security reasons.

Liability for errors and fraud

The client must report suspicious transactions to the bank within 13 months from the date of debiting the account.
If the client violates the security rules, he may bear a loss of up to the full amount.
The bank is not liable for damage caused, for example, by viruses on the client's device.

Access blocking

The bank may block access to the IEB, for example, if misuse or violation of the terms and conditions is suspected.
The client is informed of the blocking if this does not jeopardize its purpose.

Bank identity

It serves to identify the client online towards the bank, authorities and third parties.
The client may prohibit or cancel registration.
The identity expires if the client ceases to meet the relevant conditions.

Final provisions

The client may terminate the contract with a one-month notice period.
The bank may terminate the contract without giving a reason with a two-month notice period.

Overdraft

Dear client,

Thank you for choosing our bank as a partner for financing your needs. We are pleased to introduce you to the consumer overdraft facility that we offer.

We provide an overdraft facility for an indefinite period of time to finance your personal needs. The facility allows you to overdraw your current account to a negative balance, up to the amount of the pre-approved credit limit.

Conclusion of a loan agreement

After you have chosen the loan parameters according to your wishes and entered the required data for the assessment of your application, you will be provided with mandatory pre-contractual information and a draft of contractual documentation for signing. You are required to familiarize yourself with these documents. After you have signed the proposal for concluding a loan agreement, the application will be finally evaluated. If you no longer wish to use the overdraft facility, you can repay it in full and terminate the loan agreement.

Lombard overdraft

Dear client,

Thank you for choosing our bank as a partner for financing your needs. We are pleased to introduce you to the Lombard overdraft for consumers from the Private Banking segment that we offer.

We provide a Lombard overdraft for a fixed period (5 years) to finance your personal needs. The purpose of using the loan funds is not documented.

Conclusion of a loan agreement

If your application is approved, we will present you with mandatory pre-contractual information, which you are required to familiarize yourself with, and then we will conclude a loan agreement and collateral documentation with you. The loan and collateral documentation also includes the General Business Terms and Conditions, Product Business Terms and Conditions for Loans and the Fee Schedule for the Provision of Banking Services - Part of a Non-Business Individual.

Repayment

You repay the loan in full on the agreed maturity date, with the proviso that you can draw on and repay the loan continuously throughout its duration.

A loan requires security, in particular in the form of establishing a lien on receivables related to publicly traded securities or receivables related to your assets managed by Amundi Czech Republic Asset Management, a.s., and/or in the form of establishing a security assignment of receivables from your term deposit.

How to open an account

First, we will conclude the relevant service provision agreement together, which includes our terms and conditions, price lists and tariff and product terms and conditions of the individual services that you want to use with us. This will allow us to agree on the rules that we will follow together. Not only when maintaining an account, but also for other things, such as a payment card, online banking Online banking or our Smart Banking application.

You can find details that did not fit into the following summary at any time in the agreement and the aforementioned documents. Or simply ask our bankers, they will be happy to help you.

We may change the terms and conditions, price lists and tariff continuously, for example when we are preparing some new services. However, we will always let you know about the changes at least 2 months in advance. And if you do not agree with them, you can simply terminate the agreement and stop using our services. Of course, if you have a loan with us – you must of course pay it off, even if you cancel your account with us.

How we take care of your account or account management

You can have an account with us in Czech crowns or in a foreign currency offered by the bank. If a payment is received on your account in a currency other than the one in which it is maintained, we will automatically convert it to the account currency. We will charge a fee for the costs we incur in doing so according to the tariff.

For some services, we may have conditions for opening or maintaining them for you, such as a minimum deposit. Similarly, we may charge additional fees according to the tariff for maintaining some accounts or services.

To keep your money safe, we may limit how much you can withdraw at once, so-called withdrawal limits. We may also require verification of the identity of the person withdrawing money or sending it to another account. If you wish, you can change the limits to your liking.

We pay interest on some accounts, but not on others. You can read about your account in the documents we will provide you with. You will also find out how high any interest is and how often we add it. In any case, we add the interest directly to the account to which it relates.

The money in your account is insured by law.

Who has access to your account

Only you and the people you allow to access your account have access to it. The only exceptions are persons and authorities who have access to the account by law, such as a guardian. No one else can do anything with your account.

In order to manage your account and provide you with all services correctly, we need to have up-to-date information about you. If your contact address or tax status changes, for example, we need to know about it as soon as possible.

To prevent anyone else from accessing your account, you must protect your passwords and other access data. You can find details in the terms and conditions for online and electronic banking.

Payments, transfers, withdrawals

You can send money to other accounts in the Czech Republic and abroad, pay by card or withdraw it as cash at a branch or from ATMs. You can also send money to your account from another account, or deposit it into your account at a branch or via a deposit ATM. Someone else can also send or deposit it for you.

You can arrange money transfers in online banking or an application, or on paper. In the latter case, however, expect a significant fee.

You can make payments and transfers one-off, or set them up as recurring. You can also set up direct debit with us, i.e. the option for someone to request money from your account and we will send it to them up to the set amount. This is useful for payments that you send regularly, but each time in a different amount. For example, for telephone or electricity.

Of course, if you want to send money somewhere, you must have enough money in your account. We also say have a sufficient balance. This also applies to withdrawals and card payments.

In exceptional cases, your money may go to a different place than you intended, or you may receive money from someone who did not want to send it to you. If we notice this, we will contact you and try to fix it as quickly as possible. If you notice a similar discrepancy, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can look into it.

We can also debit money from your account without your instruction, for example when we deduct fees according to the tariff, interest taxes or loan repayments.

How do you find out what is happening in your account

When money goes out or comes in, you will see it immediately in online banking and the application. We can also send you notifications in it. You can also receive classic statements by mail for a fee, if you want it.

If you see an discrepancy in your account, we need you to report it as soon as possible so that we can resolve it properly. How quickly you have to do this is written in the account opening documents.

Where and how to cancel your account

You can request to cancel your account at any time, just let us know in writing. However, we will not cancel your account immediately, you will have a notice period running for a while. You can find out how long it is in the product terms and conditions of the account.

In particular, if you seriously violate the terms and conditions we have agreed on in the contract or other documents, we may also cancel your account. You can find out exactly how this works here
