Changing banks

If you decide to change your bank, both the New Bank and the Original Bank will help you to transfer your standing payment orders and direct debit permissions from one bank to the other. You may change banks through the Original Bank as well as through the New Bank (in this case, only if both banks – the Original Bank and the New Bank – have acceded to the Czech Banking Association’s Code on Mobility of Clients).
The process of changing banks will be initiated by submitting a Request Form for Changing Banks either at the New Bank or at the Original Bank. However, you must have a Current Account opened at the New Bank. We will gladly help you to complete the Request Form. You may submit the Request Form through any of UniCredit Bank’s branches.

More detailed information about changing banks – what to consider, what documents to prepare, obligations of the New Bank and those of the Original Bank, and other important information – is available HERE and on the Czech Banking Association’s website.

We look forward to co-operating with you!
