BUSINESS bank guarantees

BUSINESS bank guarantees are intended for entrepreneurs and small businesses with annual turnover of up to CZK 50 million that have been in operation at least 1 year and have their registered office/place of business in the Czech Republic.

  • application for issuing a guarantee accepted and evaluated free of charge
  • mitigation of business risk
  • presenting a bank guarantee may bring a commercial advantage, such as an allowance for deferred payment from your supplier, freeing up of funds, or others
  • price conditions determined individually
  • enhancement to your company’s reputation
  • services of a personal banker as a matter of course

Designated-purpose guarantee for securing your company’s payment or non-payment obligations related to its subject of business. On the basis of your instruction, we will issue a written declaration in favour of your business partner whereby we undertake to satisfy the business partner’s claims in accordance with the content of the letter of guarantee.

  • guarantee amount: max. 25% of your turnover for the accounting period last ended; min. CZK 100,000, max. CZK 5 million
  • guarantee currency: CZK, EUR, USD
  • valid period of guarantee: max. 5 years
  • collateral: individually determined depending on the amount of the guarantee and your credit scoring

Basic conditions for obtaining the loan:

  • your company’s annual turnover is up to CZK 50 million.
  • you have no overdue liabilities to the Tax Authority or the Czech Social Security Administration.
  • your company is not in bankruptcy or liquidation.
  • your business is legally created as an f.o. (natural person), s.r.o. (limited liability company), a.s. (joint-stock company), v.o.s. (general commercial partnership), k.s. (limited partnership) or freelance profession.

Basic required documents:

  • trade licence, extract from the Commercial Register, or the like 
  • identification document, i.e. ID card or passport
  • tax returns (including annexes) for the last 2 years
  • documents related to the subject of the guarantee (i.e. a business contract, etc.)
