MultiCash is a multi-banking application of the German company Omikron Systemhaus GmbH and is provided in localised versions to most European and many other countries.
MultiCash is a group-wide product used by UniCredit Bank Czech Republic, a.s. and most of UniCredit Group’s European affiliates.
UniCredit Bank offers its clients the MultiCash system in version 3.2.
If the client uses the MultiCash multi-banking system, the bank allows the client access to each clearly defined account for various economic entities (clients).
Basic functions:
- A multi-banking system, whereby a single application can be used for communicating with all banks using the MultiCash system for electronic banking
- Communication with the bank through analogue or ISDN telephone line or via the internet (TCP/IP protocol)
- Receiving and archiving statements of current accounts maintained at UniCredit Bank in the SWIFT MT940 (a statement for the closed banking day) and SWIFT MT942 (a statement of transactions during the current day) electronic formats
- Receiving and archiving statements of current accounts maintained at any bank (i.e. a bank supporting the given format) in the SWIFT MT940 and SWIFT MT942 electronic formats
- Receiving and archiving exchange-rate lists of UniCredit Bank and CNB
- Drawing up domestic payment orders
- Drawing up foreign payment orders
- Drawing up domestic and foreign payment orders from accounts maintained:
- at UniCredit Bank Czech Republic, a.s.
- within UniCredit Group (EuropeanGate)
- at another bank (SWIFT MT101) - Direct debit request
- Reference tables (constant symbols, payment titles, codes of Czech clearing banks, country codes)
- Personal database of domestic and foreign business partners’ accounts
- Personal database of order templates (regularly recurring payments, etc.)
- Ability to import payment orders from the client’s accounting software
- Ability to export electronic statements for automated processing in the client’s accounting software
- A well-developed system for managing profiles of individual users
- Ability to use structured electronic signature specimens at the user level – MultiCash is at the forefront of options for comprehensive setup of authorisations for individual user profiles, including the possibility of an electronic signature specimen defined by the bank for:
- one MultiCash application (local electronic signature)
- several MultiCash applications (remote electronic signature)
- ability to use the MultiCash@Sign product for remote signature of payment order files via the internet
