Products of UniCredit Group awarded in ‘Zlatá koruna’ contest with two Golden Crowns and two Silver Crowns

Revolutionary Mortgage - a hot novelty by UniCredit Bank scored in two categories of the prestigious Zlatá koruna contest. Revolutionary Mortage with the variable interest rate ranked second in the main category ‘Novelty of the Year' and won gold in the 'Mortgages' category.
UniCredit Leasing product ‘Financing with European investment Bank' won the 2010 Golden Crown in the category 'Leasing for Entrepreneurs'. Silver Crown was bestowed by the Financial Academy of the contest on the brand finance product Relax Pack from the UniCredit Leasing subsidiary RCI Financial Services.
All in all four products of UniCredit Group were awarded by the Financial Academy of 'Zlatá koruna 2010', a contest for the best financial products of the year.

Two major awards at once were earned by UniCredit Bank thanks to its topical product novelty - Revolutionary Mortgage with a variable interest rate - it came second in the main category ‘Novelty of the Year' and first in the category ‘Mortgages'. By this product offer, UniCredit Bank succeeded to go below the 4% interest rate threshold in March this year. The advantage of the new mortgage lies in its simplicity and transparency, represented e.g. by its fixed rate construction over the entire loan life or its conditions governing early repayment.

The Golden Crown seal in the category ‘Leasing for Entrepreneurs' was awarded by the jury to ‘Financing with European investment Bank' from UniCredit Leasing. The Golden Crown from the jury was earned by the brand-financing product for the Renault and Dacia cars, provided to the customers by RCI Financial Services, a subsidiary of UniCredit Leasing.

"'Financing with European investment Bank' is among the most successful products of UniCredit Leasing in terms of its utilisation rate by the customers, which makes our appreciation of being awarded the Golden Crown by the expert jury even stronger. In the car financing segment, practically one quarter of all contracts obtained advantageous financing with EIB support, and the proportion went even above one third in the machinery and equipment segment," said Jaroslav Jaroměřský, Executive Director of UniCredit Leasing.

UniCredit Bank has included the Revolutionary Mortgage with the 3.93% interest rate into its product range since 1 April 2010. If the customer insures her or his loan against inability to pay, the offered interest rate is further reduced. The resulting advantage of the new mortgage loan from UniCredit Bank, in addition to the lower annuity payment compared to the fixed mortgage loan, consists also in the fixed construction of the rate over the whole loan repayment period. It is defined as a fixed deviation from 1M PRIBOR. Customers appreciate the transparency of the new mortgage loan which is further illustrated by the clear early repayment conditions.

Small and medium enterprises (with less than 250 staff) may obtain also advantageous financing supported by European Investment Bank (EIB) when opting for financing with UniCredit Leasing. The opportunity applies to the purchases of automobiles and other transportation technology, as well as to machinery and equipment. Some people may be discouraged by imagining the administrative toil when writing an application. This, however, is not the case at all. All necessary administrative is handled by UniCredit Leasing. This brings notable savings. As proven by the UniCredit practice, it may save as much as CZK 30,000 when repaying a financed item worth CZK 1 million, compared to the standard offer.
