New banking services pricelist valid from January 1st 2010 (changes only with respect to the increased VAT rate)
Based on the enactment of act 362/2009 Sb., which changes selected acts in connection with the proposed bill regarding the national budget of the Czech Republic for the year 2010, an amendment to the value added tax (VAT) rates will come into effect. The change comprises:
- An increase of the base VAT rate of 19% to 20%
- An increase of the concessional VAT rate of 9% to 10%.
The above VAT rates, i.e. basic rate of 20% and concessional rate of 10% are effective as of January 1st 2010.
