UniCredit Bank expands investment possibilities, issues additional bonds

UniCredit Bank is offering additional opportunities to those interested in investing in bonds. As part of its third bond programme, the Bank is issuing 15 new bonds with discount-based returns in Czech crowns, euro and dollars (issues nos. 37-51). The issues feature a wide range of maturities from 8 months up to 5 years. The expected volume of the issues corresponds to the equivalent of CZK 7.5 billion. The bonds are intended for all types of investors.

UniCredit Bank thus has supplemented its already extensive range of investment instruments on offer. "We are responding to the stable, strong demand of our clients for this type of investment instrument. We are thereby supplementing the existing offer of similar bonds and giving investors the ideal possibility to select a suitable investment horizon. This is a conservative investment product, as the bonds' interest income is guaranteed when held to maturity," stated Štěpán Nývlt, International Markets, UniCredit Bank.

During this year, the bank has offered investors a number of issues. In January, it issued a series of similar bonds. Then in June, in response to developments on equity markets, it issued bonds with 1-year maturity linked to equities prices-the YIELD 2010 structured bond and the GROWTH 2010 structured bond. In October, it offered a bond linked to crude oil prices-the PETROL 2012 structured bond.
