UniCredit Bank extends its special offer of the mortgage loan at 4.44% p.a.

UniCredit Bank has decided to extend its special offer of the mortgage loan at 4.44% p.a. beyond 1 October 2009. The currently lowest interest rate on the market will be granted to the customers who will acquire other UniCredit Bank products: the personal account, credit insurance and credit card. The customers will achieve the interest rate of 4.44% when using the one-year fixed rate option. When fixed for three years, the interest rate is 4.84% p.a. and the five-year option is at 4.99% p.a. The current offer continues to be open for both the existent and new UniCredit Bank customers.

"The interest rate of 4.44% p.a. we have been now offering is currently the lowest one on the Czech mortgage loan market. Since the launch of the special rates, hundreds of new clients have made use of our offer and we take this as a most encouraging outcome. Our customers can calculate for themselves that their monthly payments get considerably discounted even when using additional services of our bank. Which is why we have decided to go on with our special offer beyond 1 October 2009," notes Jaroslav Žahourek, Head of Retail Division, UniCredit Bank.

"Compared to our competitors, UniCredit Bank has been managing reasonably well during this year and we are beginning to increase our share of the mortgage loan market. This, however, cannot be seen purely as an effect of the current price offer, as our customers appreciate also the simplified mortgage loan authorisation process. There has been high demand, too, for the new credit insurance product, under which our clients are covered against the perils of death and involuntary loss of employment. Our goal for this year is to become perceived by the people as a bank able to provide quality mortgage loans to both retail and corporate clientele," added Tomás Drábek, Head of Majordomus Retail Real Estate Finance, UniCredit Bank.
