Student Account

The Student Account is intended for full-time students of universities, vocational colleges, and language or secondary schools who seek to individually resolve their financial needs and obtain independence.*

* in order to obtain the account under advantageous conditions, it is necessary for the client to submit his or her confirmation of studies on the form accepted by UniCredit Bank by 31 October of each year.

  • financial independence for a low monthly fee
  • 2 direct banking products – Online Banking and GSM Banking
  • electronic debit card
  • overdraft credit line for a current account
  • refunding of ISIC card after 6 months of account maintenance
  • possibility to obtain a student loan under advantageous conditions
  • all withdrawals from UniCredit Group’s ATMs in Czech Republic and abroad free of charge

In addition to opening and maintenance of a current account in CZK, you obtain the following services: 

  • quarterly account statement sent by post within the Czech Republic
  • all withdrawals from UniCredit Group’s ATMs in Czech Republic and abroad free of charge
  • 1 withdrawal per month from ATMs of other banks in the Czech Republic
  • possibility to establish and maintain an overdraft credit line for a current account (client must be at least 18 years old)*
  • domestic standing order, direct debit permission and SIPO payment – establishing, changing, cancelling electronically
  • 2 direct banking products – Online Banking and GSM Banking
  • all incoming noncash domestic payments
  • all incoming payments from accounts maintained at UniCredit Bank Slovakia, a.s. for the advantageous fee of CZK 50
  • sending up to 10 SMS reports monthly (account balance, account movements, card transactions)
  • electronic debit card (choice of Visa Electron or Maestro)
  • refunding of ISIC international student card once during the duration of the Student Account
  • possibility to obtain a student loan under advantageous conditions*
  • provision and initialisation of a security token for the advantageous fee of CZK 90

* Provided the client fulfils the conditions established by the bank
